Winfield Primary C students took a field trip to Sushi Tei at JL. Teuku Daud, where they were shown how to make sushi. Our students learned the steps to making "Kani Corn Gunkan" and " Kani Tamago Waki".
First they spread out the rice on a nori sheet.

Second, they placed the filling on top of the rice.

Third, they rolled the sushi using the "makisu", or rolling mat.

Fourth, they cut the rolled up sushi, and last, they put the sushi into a box to be served.

No doubt they will appreciate more all the work that goes into sushi the next time they eat it! Here is their picture posing in front the restaurant.

That's all for this post. Thanks for reading
