ABOUT PLAY GROUP

PLAY GROUP

Playgroup is for student from 1,5 yearrs up to 6 years. Play group has many fun activities that will make the students comfortable when learning english. Beside that, Play group also provide a fun activities like: Dancing, Singing, Playing Games and etc. In Play group the students will learn about a new thing such as recognizing alphabet, numbers, things and also about English.

Play Group level: From toddler up to Pre-Primary IInd ( 1,5 years - 6 years )

Materials : Singing, Simple Reading, Conversation, Counting, Role Play, Big drawing, APB

OUR PLAY GROUP ACTIVITY
1. TODDLER
   - Grapes : Introducing fruits to the students

2. NURSERY A

   - DECORATING BALOONS : Differenciate colourful shapes which will stick-

                                                        on the baloons.

    - CHICK : Showing colourful chicks to students and in order to teach them the colour and -

                      the sound of the chicks.

    -- Banana  : Teach the students how to peel the skin of banana and taste it.

    - GUITAR : Having fun with guitar and let's them know about the sound, simple -

                     conversation will be done.

3.NURSERY B

    - MAKING BRACELET : Teach the students how to peel the skin of banana and taste it.

4. KINDERGARTEN I

    - PLAYING BOWLING:  Recognizing numbers + colours

5. KINDERGARTEN II

    - Brushing teeth : Describe and explain to the students the good way to brush teeth.

      

6. PRE-PRIMARY Ist 

    - AT THE FRUIT AND VEGETABLE STALL: Playing simple games. The students are going                                    

                                                                                   to buy the fruits or the vegetables. The-

                                                                                   students should listen to the teacher's -

                                                                                   instruction.

7. PRE-PRIMARY Ind, PRE-PRIMARY IIst, and PRE-PRIMARY IInd

   -VISIT THE MUSEUM : The students are able to recognize more about the animals

                                               that live in the world.

Our History
    Y.P. Winfield was established in 1988 by three close friends: Daisy Phandi, Mariaty Yananto, and Moniju Teh. These three friends sought to create an environment where not only the English language was taught but crucial character traits were instilled and nurtured in their students. They yearned to invest of young people and give back to their community and country.

      The purpose of Y.P. Winfield is to glorify God in all that He has called us to do, namely in educating young people in the English language and nurturing them in the hope of God.

1.We envision a thriving, God-centered community of friends who learn and grow together. This     community consists of Winfield students and teachers past and present.

2We envision students and teachers who hunger for knowledge and wisdom. They study diligently, apply their education, and aim to excel in everything they do. They are encouraged to pursue their ambitions and dreams and make an impact in the world.


   Our Objectives (How we will accomplish our mission)
1.      We aim to provide top quality English language curriculum and present it in a professional manner.

2.      We aim to influence our students for good through our classroom activities, extra-curricular activities, and media. This includes not only curriculum material but also outings, competitions, social outreach projects,  semesterly newsletters, website and social networks.

3.      We aim to provide extra-curricular activities for the application of English language skills and the building and nurturing of relationships.

4.      We aim to have a fellowship of students and teachers within the Winfield Community that grows together and serves together.
